                                                    Gond Art

   About the Course

Gond Art is a unique tribal painting tradition that originates from the indigenous Gond community of Central India, especially in Madhya Pradesh. It reflects their deep connection with nature, folklore, mythology, and village life. Known for its rhythmic patterns, dotted textures, and vivid colours, Gond Art is now globally appreciated for its distinct visual language.

This 2-month certificate course is thoughtfully crafted for individuals who wish to explore and practice this remarkable art form. Students will learn about traditional motifs like animals, birds, trees, and deities, along with modern interpretations like cars and technology—all painted in intricate Gond style. The course includes training in drawing, pattern creation, brush handling, and colour application.
