Madhubani Painting, also known as Mithila Art, is a celebrated folk painting style that originated in the cultural heartland of Bihar. Traditionally practiced by the women of the Mithila region, this art form beautifully illustrates mythological, devotional, and natural themes using intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and unique brushwork. This course offers students a deep understanding of the various styles of Madhubani Painting such as Kachani, Bharani, Tantrik, Godna, and Kohbar.

Designed for art enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals, this 3-month certificate course focuses on both traditional and contemporary applications of Madhubani painting. From basic drawing exercises and natural colour preparation to stylistic execution using pens, brushes, and poster colours, this course ensures well-rounded learning.
